Padre Island National Seashore & Malaquite Beach

Home to the longest stretch of an undeveloped barrier island in the world. There are 70 miles of white sand beaches, scenic dunes, and warm ocean water, offering ideal conditions for swimming, fishing, windsurfing, camping, relaxing, bird-watching, and viewing wildlife.

Bob Hall Pier

Stretching 1,240 feet into the Gulf of Mexico, this public pier is great for beginners or avid fishermen.

USS Lexington

Nicknamed “The Blue Ghost,” this aircraft carrier spent months in combat in World War II and was vital to the success of our Navy. Now, it’s a floating museum that was seen over 5.5 million visitors.

South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center

This is a 182-acre environmental education destination that showcases the amazing South Texas scenery and animals. Enjoy the orchids, roses, and tropical flowers or sit back and watch the migrating birds.

Texas Surf Museum

The first and only surf museum in Texas. Learn about Texas surf history and view surfboards, pictures, and videos from the early days of surfing.

The Art Museum of South Texas

Sitting in downtown Corpus Christi, right on the water, this museum highlights great art from the region and features rotating exhibits from around the world.

Texas State Aquarium

Home to thousands of animals, this attraction appeals to all ages. There are sharks, turtles, stingrays, dolphins and much more. Interactive shows entertain and educate guests about the wonders of our oceans.

Corpus Christi Hooks Baseball at Whataburger Field

The Double-A affiliate of the 2018 World Champion Houston Astros. Located on the downtown waterfront with views of the ship channel and Harbor Bridge, the fields beautiful and the games are action-packed.

Waves Resort Corpus Christi

This water park resort provides guests a great way to cool down from the Texas heat. There are lazy rivers to float, thrill rides to enjoy, a swim-up bar, and plenty of kid-friendly areas.

Selena Memorial Statue

Beach to Bay Relay Marathon

One of the largest relay marathons in the USA, this race attracts runners from around the world. This six-leg running event starts on the beach and continues over the JFK Causeway bridge, through the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, and ends down Shoreline Dr.

Fiesta de la Flor

A 2-day music festival celebrating the life and legacy of Selena. This annual event serves as a tribute to her, as well as the cultural contributions of Tejano music worldwide.

Texas Sand Fest

This 3-day family-friendly event attracts artists from around the world to construct and show off their amazing sand creations.

Texas Jazz Festival
